This or That Game:
Each card shows two fall-themed items or activities, and students move to one side of the room to show their choice. There are no right or wrong answers, so every student can participate without any pressure. The 20 cards are all autumn-themed, making this a funway to celebrate the season while getting kids up and moving.
Opinion Writing Worksheets:
Each of the 20 choice cards has a matching writing worksheet where students write their opinion and back it up with three supporting reasons. The blank template can be used with any other Would You Rather questions you come up with on your own.
This works well as a back-to-school ice breaker, a brain break, or an introduction to your opinion writing unit. The game gets students warmed up and thinking about their preferences, and the writing worksheets give them a structured way to put those thoughts on paper.
