HOW IT WORKS:

Each slide or calling card shows students a word with a missing prefix or suffix, along with a picture and a sentence to give them context. Students look at the clue, figure out the correct affix, and mark it on their bingo card. First student to fill a row of five — across, down, or diagonal — wins.

The PowerPoint slides advance automatically, which means once you start the game you can circulate the room, pull a small group, or help individual students without stopping to manage the presentation. There is also a built-in shuffle feature so you can randomize the slides with one click and play the game again without students seeing the same order twice. If you don’t have PowerPoint, printable calling cards are also included.
