Place Value Bingo Game

This is a fun math bingo game to build number sense and learn place value with two-digit numbers up to 50.

Your students will practice recognizing numbers modeled with base ten blocks (tens and one) and matching them to the written numbers. This activity also builds understanding of tens and ones.

The game runs itself through Powerpoint which means you don’t have to call out the the cards! (Don’t have Powerpoint? Don’t worry! A printable option is included.)

What is included in this Place Value Bingo Game?

  • 24 different Bingo cards

  • Powerpoint presentation

  • Printable calling cards

  • Instructions

Each slide of the presentation shows a base-ten block representation. Students determine what number is being represented and find the corresponding numeral on their Bingo card.

The slides will advance automatically, so you can start the game and then get something else done or circulate the room to help students while they play.

This is a great activity to build math skills in a fun way! It’s easy enough to use that it can be left for a sub.
