Math Coloring Worksheets Multiplication Facts x1 through x12 
 
These math coloring sheets are a fun way for students to practice their multiplication facts! Kids of all ages enjoy coloring, so your 3rd grade (or even 4th or 5th grade) students will love doing these. They are a great way to build fact fluency and math skills during independent work time, in a math center, or for homework.
 
Each page includes a hundred chart and a coloring key. Students color in each box on the chart to reveal the hidden picture. But to do so, they must solve the multiplication problems to find out where to place the different colors. When the math facts are solved correctly, the mystery picture will be revealed.

The math problems on these color by code worksheets involve times tables through 12x12. There are a few with larger numbers times 1, so students will need to have an understanding of the identity property (and know the rule for multiplying any number by one).
 
There are also just a couple of problems that require multiplying a larger number by 2 with no regrouping (for example: 2x23). These can easily be solved by adding facts if your students understand the concept that times 2 is the same as doubling the number.
