KINDNESS MINI BOOK
This is a short story about a girl who pays it forward when some other children are kind to her at the park.
There are 2 versions of the book:
• full color
• black & white with pictures to color
KINDNESS WORKSHEETS
These can be completed independently or in small groups, if students need help reading the text.
• Coloring page with writing prompt that goes along with the mini book.
• Sort examples of being kind vs. unkind (cut and paste)
• “If…. I could….” sentence starters – Students read short scenarios and tell what they could do to show kindness.
KINDNESS DISCUSSION CARDS
Includes 12 short scenarios to read and discuss whether they demonstrate kindness or not. There are also optional ”voting cards” with kindness/thumbs up on one side and unkind/thumbs down on the other that students can use to indicate their answers.
These kindness activities are appropriate for primary grades. Perfect for your SEL lessons or to support a positive behavior plan in the classroom.
