THE NUMBER GAME
This is a set of 10 different games – all played in the same way but focusing on a specific number 1 through 10.
Students take turns drawing a card and counting the set of objects pictured. If the quantity matches the target number, the student spins the spinner and moves his piece on the board.
For example, if students are playing the number 5 board, they will get to spin and move every time they pick a card showing a quantity of 5. Since each of these games focus on a specific number, they are great to use along with number of the day or week activities.
THE NUMBER RACE
In this game, both players draw a card, count their objects, and compare. Whoever has the largest quantity gets to move their game piece. This is a great game to use as review once students have learned numbers through 10.
These are all simple, easy to learn games. Simplified instructions with picture icons are included on the game boards.
The boards are provided in both letter and ledger size so you can print larger boards if you like.
