Task Cards
Includes 12 cards with different regular and composite shapes. The shapes all show the square units. Students must determine the area and perimeter of each shape to solve two riddles.
Worksheets
There are three different worksheets. One guides students through finding area and perimeter of regular shapes by counting units and sides. One requires them to find area by multiplying columns x rows and perimeter by adding the lengths of the sides. The last worksheet deals with irregular shapes.
Exit Tickets
Includes one for each type of shape (regular and composite).
