Kindergarten Morning Work Set 3
 
This kindergarten morning work resource includes 9 weeks of daily reading and math activities. Each week focuses on a specific letter, number, color, and shape. This is SET 3 which continues and builds on the skills in sets 1 and 2.
 
The order of letters in this pack follow a commonly used sequence for teaching letters and sounds. This sequence introduces letters first that are most commonly used in early sight words.
 
Letters - W, U, J, Y, Z, V, Q, X, introduce long vowel sounds
Numbers - 19, 20, 1 to 20 review, count on, count back, skip count
Sight Words - see, the, and, like, we, is, my, can, go
Shapes - flat shapes review, cube, sphere, cone, cylinder, pyramid, solid shapes review, sides, vertices
 
 
These daily worksheets could also be used as homework rather than morning work.
 
In addition to the daily work pages, there is also a cover page that students can color. This allows you to staple the pages into a booklet or work packet.
 
This morning work is designed with kindergarteners in mind and promote independence. Pages feature:

Daily reading tasks:
color, trace, and write the focus letter (upper and lower case) color pictures starting with that letter identify the letter among a group of mixed letters use the target letter to complete words (initial, medial, or ending sound) read sight words in isolation and in a sentence find and circle the sight word write the sight word
